Probing the Electron Spin

Electrons Providing Insight

We develop advanced instruments to control and detect electron spins in molecular and solid-state systems. Our platforms include transient and pulsed EPR spectrometers that operate across a wide temperature range, from cryogenic to ambient, and optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR) systems, where fluorescence readout provides high-contrast access to spin states. These approaches enable direct interrogation of electron spin coherence and dynamics. By exploiting these capabilities, we harness molecular and semiconductor systems as highly sensitive quantum probes for spectroscopy, sensing, and emerging quantum technologies.
